Jessica Sánchez (Sayula, Jalisco, 1986) is a Mexican artist whose work reexamines landscape painting through processes of fragmentation, masking, and spatial intervention. By leaving portions of the surface intentionally unresolved, she creates compositions that shift between image and object. Her paintings explore the relationship between presence, absence, and the physical boundaries of the canvas.
